Mobilize For Mike Day is Today

December 06, 2007 - 11:59 PM

Mobilize For Mike HQ

With less than an hour to go until Mobilize for Mike day we wanted to setup our online headquarters.

At midnight a ticker will be added to the frontpage of the website. As you send emails it will count them in real time. The goal isn't to send as many emails as we can, it is to send as many emails as we can to actual voters.

Suggestions for emails:

- Focus on friends, family members and co-workers that vote.

- Emails to Independents, Republicans, Democrats are equally important.

- Personalize the message. Don't just send emails to friends asking them to visit the website, please tell them why it is important that they do.

- Encourage them to forward emails to their friends. Our campaign has always been about friends telling friends about Governor Huckabee. This has been very effective. Let's keep that going.

- Ask them to become actively involved in the campaign.

If you have any tips for personal messages we encourage you to leave them here as a comment so others can see them. If you send 10 emails, 50 emails or 500 emails to friends let us know. Your comments may spur others to send emails. So please let us know when you participate.

We have tried to keep this simple so as many people will participate as possible. Governor Huckabee is going to email you shortly with some additional details.

Let's Keep The Bus Rolling!

December 03, 2007 - 06:01 PM

New December Online Fundraising Goal

Thanks to your financial support in October and November we have the resources we need to be competitive in Iowa.

Since October 1 we have raised more than $3.4 million online. We have set a new online goal of raising $1,150,000 by December 15th to help us in three additional ways:

1. On December 18th Governor Huckabee will begin a bus tour across Iowa. We want to have the financial resources to reach every corner of the state. The money we raise towards this goal will help keep the Huckabus rolling.

2. We need to have the resources to begin running ads in New Hampshire and South Carolina.

3. After the Iowa Caucuses we will need to be prepared to seize the momentum with new television, radio and webads aired nationally. Helping us reach our December 15 goal will put us in a good position to build on our momentum coming out of Iowa.

So please contribute towards our new December 15 online fundraising goal today. We have already raised over $184,000 towards our December goal. Let's keep the momentum going.

Call to action from Huckabee Supporter

WE ARE ON THE CUSP OF HISTORY!!

Governor Mike Huckabee's run to the White House has been a marathon with long odds. We have a chance to give him a huge boost today and make history. Mike has a positive message of hope four our nation and is the right man, for the right job, at the right time. For the past 29 days we have set our aim at the $2.067 Million monthly online goal. We have reached the final hours of this month and we are getting closer and closer to our goal as the minutes go by. Will you please help me reach it?

Each day brings higher poll numbers nationally an in the key states of Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, & Florida. However with the new momentum comes increased attacks and mudslinging from rival campaigns and special interest groups. Reaching our goal will allow Mike to continue to spread his message and defend himself against the attacks that are coming.

It is time to seize the day and take our country back. We can do this with your help. Please make a contribution to the Mike Huckabee campaign today. Don't wait - DO IT NOW!! Time is of the essence. We must meet this goal by Midnight and we are $200,000 away with 9 hours away from the end of the month.

Thank you & God Bless
abertrand

Thoughts on the CNN/ YouTube Debate

Well I have to say Huckabee did well again and from the reports I saw he impressed many people. All in all he might benefit the most from this debate. Romney didn't do himself any favors and I expect to see a drop in his numbers as a result. Rudy had mixed results and I don't see much change for him. Thompson claiming that the overturning of Roe v. Wade was the most important issue facing America was nuts. I think he did very poorly and pretty much killed his chance at winning the nomination. Hunter did well in my opinion and should expect a bump in the polls. Tancredo was alright but his style is so poor it is hard to take him seriously. McCain annoyed me. He had no respect for the time limits and was kind of patronizing. I was a big fan of John's in the past but his time has passed. Finally there was Ron Paul. He is the most un-presidential of any candidate I can think of. He doesn't look like a leader, speak like a leader or think like a leader. I have to admit I kept picturing him in a Elf costume while he was talking.

Here are the Awards for the debate:

Most Hillary Clinton Like: Mitt Romney - just answer the question

Worst Style: Tom Tancredo

Best Elf/ Mouse Impression: Ron Paul - It's scary knowing he has supporters

The Wiesel Award: Rudy Giuliani - No true Yankee fan would EVER root for the Red Sox (kind of a Hillary thing to do if you ask me)

Biggest Blow-hard: John McCain

Worst Actor: Fred Thompson for his role as a Presidential Candidate

Most Surprising: Duncan Hunter

Winner (person who will benefit the most): Mike Huckabee

The more people see and learn about Mike Huckabee the more they will like him.
